PPA Color Challenge Card

I just got some fun new stamps today and decided to use them for the PPA Challenge this week. The flower is from the set called Mixed Bunch. It also has a coordinating punch. They are both in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. The sentiment is from the Curly Cute set. I also used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and an Antique Brad. The colors for this challenge are Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, and Very Vanilla.

Color Throwdown Challenge #173

I used the Heart Punch, Finial Press Embossing Folder, Baroque Motif Set (for the word "Cherish") and the Delightful Dozen set (for the word "congratulations").

Mojo Monday Valentine

This is my card for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 222. I used Real Red Card Stock, Red Glimmer Paper, Basic Black Card Stock and Ink, Whisper White Card Stock, and Silver Glimmer Paper. The Embossing Folders that I used in my big shot are Perfect Polka Dots, Vintage Wallpaper, and Finial Press. I also used mini jewels, the Scalloped Heart Embosslit Die and the Heart Punch. I am always stamping cards and sending them late because I don't send them in time. This is a card that we made a few months at stamp camp. I used the Fox and Friends stamp for the turtle. The words are from the On Your Birthday set. I also used Old Olive Designer Paper, Old Olive and Not Quite Navy Card Stock and Ink, Whisper White Card Stock, Circle Nestabilities, Scalloped Circle Nestabilities (in the Big Shot), and white ribbon.

We have had a busy couple of weeks. Last weekend my daughter, Sierra, graduated from high school. This is a project that we made at my last stamp camp. I found this project with the downloadable I-Pod images on Family Fun's web-site. We used Real Red, Whisper White, and Basic Black for the colors. The stamp set is called, "XOXO" and is in the Occasions Mini Catalog. We also used the Heart Punch, Black Hemp, Cello Bags, and Red Satin Ribbon. The Box is a box of Conversation Hearts covered in Card Stock. The "head phones" are Hershey's kisses.

I bought these jar candles at Wal-Mart in the Christmas area for only $1 each and thought that they would make a great project for stamp camp. This is a fun box to make. I used the Big Shot to cut out 2 of the #2 Box and glued them together back to back. I used the 1-3/8" circle punch for the handle and also added the scalloped circle punch. The Designer Paper is Candy Cane Christmas (in the Holiday Mini Catalog). The colors are Whisper White and Real Red. I added a border using the scalloped edge punch. The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set. I used the oval punch and the scalloped oval punch for the greeting.

OCC Challenge - Gift Item

The challenge this week for OCC is making a gift. These are the place "cards" that I will put on my Thanksgiving table this year. For the place setting, I used the #2 box in my Big Shot. The #2 Box holds 12 Hershey's Nuggets perfectly. I used Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, and More Mustard card stock, the leaf die and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder in the Big Shot, the same colors of ink sponged on each leaf, and natural hemp. The designer paper is Autumn Spice (found in the Holiday Mini Catalog). The smaller box is the Matchbox Die. It fits 4 Hershey's Nuggets.

This is another fall card that we made at last month's stamp camp. The stamp is from the Autumn Splendor set. The designer paper is from the Holiday Mini Catalog. It is called Autumn Spice. I used Early Espresso, More Mustard, Old Olive, and Cajun Craze as my ink and card stock colors. We sponged around the edges and added satin ribbon. We embossed the Mustard card stock using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder on the Big Shot.

This card is made using the leaf from the Autumn Days Set. The colors are River Rock, Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla. I punched a square out of a scrap piece of paper and used it to sponge the square shapes. I also added natural hemp.

This is a card that we will be doing tonight at my stamp camp. The colors of card stock are Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, and More Mustard. The greeting is stamped in Early Espresso and is from the Holiday Mini Catalog. It is called Seasonal Sentiments. I used the Leaves Die in my Big Shot and then embossed them using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I also used Brown Satin Ribbon.

A little late...but...this is the Halloween card that we made at last months stamp camp. We used Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry, and Daffodil Delight for the card stock. We used circle, oval, the bat and the bird (for the branches) punches. The embossing folder is the Vintage Wallpaper Folder. We also used black satin ribbon and sponges around the shapes of the pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie Ink.

I am doing several weekly challenges today. This card is from the weekly sketch (SSC162) at Stamping411. The colors that I chose (Grape Crush and Whisper White) are the colors in the challenge over at Pals Paper Arts. (PPA53) Their challenge for this week is to make a monochromatic card using a shade of purple. On this card, I also used the Dots Embossing Folder in my Big Shot and glue dots. The image and greeting are the Tiny Teacup Stamp.

This card is made using the Hostess Set called Because I Care. One card is made by using markers directly on the stamp. The other card is made by stamping the image in Basic Black Ink and using the Aqua Painter to color it. The colors that I used are Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Always Artichoke, and Garden Green. I also used the Dots Embossing Folder with my Big Shot, Glue Dots, and Whisper White Card Stock.

I had a great time yesterday making this rag bag and flower. The directions to make this bag and this flower are on the Chic N Scratch Blog. Angie has instructions for purchase and a video with step by step visual instructions for free on her web-site. I do not sew, but this was super easy. I used the scallop square die for the purse and the flower folds die for the flower.

The Paper Pal's have the perfect challenge for my busy day. Their challenge this week is to make a card and K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, sweetie). This card is a quick & simple card. I used the Designer Paper (Sending Love Specialty) from the Occasions Mini Catalog. This paper even has the glitter in it (which saves that step). For the project, we put the SU Decor Elements flower on the jar. We used Whisper White & Rose Red for the tag colors. Here is a triangle box that we made at my December Stamp Camp. It can hold about 10-12 Hershey kisses. The stamp set that I used is Snow Swirled. We used Old Olive, More Mustard and Whisper White for the colors. The jewels are from Wal-mart. We also used a hole punch and Grosgrain Ribbon. Card with Ornament Pocket

Here is a Christmas Card with a pocket inside to hold a flat ornament. For this card, I used the Winter Post set. The colors are Almost Amethyst, Whisper White, and Elegant Eggplant. The pocket inside the card is an envelope sealed and cut in half. I used a circle punch to put a notch in the pocket.

Snowflake Candles

This is a candle with a box that we made at Stamp Camp last night. I found the candles (which come in a clear box) at Michael's in the dollar area. We embossed a snowflake in silver in Night of Navy Card Stock and added silver brads after using the Ticket Corner Punch. For the candle we used tissue paper and stamped a snowflake on it in Night of Navy. We punched a hole in the center of the snowflake using the Crop-i-Dile for the wick of the candle. Next we punched the snowflake out using the circle punch. We used the heat tool to make the tissue paper "disappear" into the wax. While the wax was still hot, we sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and then put a little more heat on it. The snowflakes are from the stamp set Snowflake Serenade which is in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
